Website Accessibility Services
Your business website will undergo a comprehensive multi-stage process to make it accessible and to keep it accessible:
STEP 1: The Audit
The audit is a two-step process. First, manual testing is done by humans (not AI or software). This includes:
-
Screen reader testing with NVDA/JAWS and other popular assistive tools;
-
Keyboard-only navigation evaluation across all key user flows;
-
Review of forms, buttons, modals, and interactive elements;
-
Color contrast and visual hierarchy analysis.
After the human audit is complete, only then is automated AI-powered testing software run on your website, to verify that the human audit did not miss anything at all. This includes:
-
Proprietary platform scans every page of your website at scale;
-
Identify every image missing alt text — not just a sample;
-
Detect missing form labels, ARIA errors, and code-level issues;
-
Generate a complete issue log for record keeping purposes.
When the audit is complete, there is a full picture of your web accessibility issues, and of remediation needed to fix every issue.
STEP 2: Remediation - Fixing the Issues
Website accessibility experts will implement all of the required accessibility fixes, leaving your website in compliance with all accessibility laws, and primed for maximum visibility to disabled users and search engines. Every accessibility issue is fixed, including:
-
Alt text for all images;
-
Labels for all form fields;
-
Keyboard navigability;
-
Text contrast ratios;
-
Proper heading hierarchy;
-
Screen reader announcements.
When all of the accessibility issues are fixed, your website will undergo another round of accessibility testing.
STEP 3: Re-Testing
After remediation is complete, the entire website is re-tested from scratch — the same way it was audited at the beginning — to verify every fix:
-
Manual screen reader re-evaluation of all previously flagged pages;
-
Keyboard and focus order verification across all fixed flows;
-
Automated re-scan of the full site using our scanning platform;
-
Comparison of pre and post-remediation compliance scores;
-
Documentation of all resolved issues for your compliance records.
Once re-testing is complete, final remediation begins.
STEP 4: Final Remediation
After the human audit, the automated audit, the remediation, and the re-testing, the final remediation phase is completed, including:
-
Full Compliance Certification;
-
Remediation Report;
-
Accessibility Statement.
Websites are always changing and updating, and an accessible website can easily become inaccessible over time. For that reason, we recommend continuous monitoring after full and final remediation.
STEP 5: Continuous Monitoring
Continuous monitoring and maintenance is critical to avoid falling out of compliance, there are many reasons that a fully accessible website can become inaccessible, including:
-
Websites Are Never Static: Every new page, image, video, or form you add creates new potential accessibility violations. A one-time fix is not a permanent solution — ongoing monitoring is essential;
-
Legal Standards Evolve: WCAG guidelines and ADA enforcement continue to expand. WCAG 2.2 added new success criteria in 2023. Staying current requires active monitoring, not a one-time audit;
-
Lawsuit Risk Doesn't End at Remediation: Plaintiffs and their attorneys actively re-check previously sued websites. If your site regresses, you become a repeat target. Ongoing compliance is critical;
